Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pliers
- Tape measure
- Pipe thread sealant
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation and access to electrical and plumbing connections on a solid, level floor.
- Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts, brackets and packaging materials from the appliance.
- Connect Water Supply: Connect water supply lines to the water inlet valves. Use only new hoses and apply pipe thread sealant.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route the drain hose into a standpipe with proper height to prevent siphoning.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Level the Appliance: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the unit is perfectly level from front to back and side to side.
- Test Run: Run the appliance through a complete cycle to check for leaks, proper operation and temperature accuracy.
